recent
Loads context from your most recent conversations. Call it at the start of a chat to give your AI immediate context about what you’ve been working on.

What it returns
- Recent conversation summaries
- Key entities mentioned recently
- Active projects and topics
- Any pending items or decisions
When to use
Start of conversation: Many connected AIs call recent automatically when you begin a new chat. This gives them immediate context about what you’ve been working on.
Catching up: Ask your AI “what have I been working on recently?” and it will call recent to load your latest context.
Example:
“What have I been up to?”
The AI calls recent() and summarizes your recent activity.
If your AI seems to have no context about your recent work, try explicitly asking it to check your recent BaseLayer activity.
